We have made shipping easy for you. You simply choose the time frame you wish your package to arrive and pay one flat rate, regardless of how large your order is.

We only ship on Mondays/Tuesdays/Wednesdays to avoid your chocolate sitting on a truck and/or in a warehouse over the weekend. We will also not ship, if the 1st or 2nd day, is a national holiday and the truck carrier will not deliver. Our normal process/shipment time is 2-3 business days, during non-holiday periods on our shipment days. All two day orders placed Thursday through Sunday ship on Monday. Three day orders ship on Monday and Tuesday only - we don't like our chocolates sitting over a weekend somewhere and getting kicked around....they are perfect when they leave us, we want you to have them perfect as well.
PLEASE BE AWARE if you are shipping to a hot place we reserve the right to upgrade your shipping choice and charge you accordingly so your chocolates arrive impeccable. Also, from May 1 through Sept 1 there is an added "Warm Weather Handling" charge. This is because we use insulated shipping containers and include an ice-pack in your order. We make no extra money on this. This charge is our cost. We just want to ensure our delicious chocoaltes arrive to you safely and hwo they left us.
For residents of, but not limited to - AZ, NM, TX, LA, MS, NV, AL, GA, FL, we do not recommend any shipping option other than overnight. We have had many meltdowns to these states and recommend that you spend the extra dollars to insure your chocolates arrive safely. If you choose 2-day or 3-day shipping and your chocolates melt, we will not be held responsible.
- Future Delivery Date: We welcome requests for future delivery dates. Please enter your preferred arrival date in the Special Instructions box during the checkout process. We will make every effort to insure your order arrives on your requested date.
- Holiday Lead Time: During the months of November/December and February, order lead time will increase up to 5 business days prior to our normal scheduled ship days.
- We are not responsible for any damages to your chocolates from abuse or delays by UPS/FedEx/USPS or any other carrier.
Please note that all returns must be in its original carton with all the documentation, to insure full product credit. No credit or replacement will be issued until the returned merchandise has been received and inspected by our staff. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is damaged or product defective, upon receipt. Product defects are excluded due to weather/climate conditions, wrong address/non-deliverable and/or being left outside all day. All returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must be returned within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date.
Please contact us for a Return Authorization (RA) number prior to returning any items. If you return your item(s) without an RA number, your order will not be refunded and you will have to pay additional shipping charges if you would like us to return the item(s) to you.
Please allow 8-10 business days to process your return. Once processed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that a credit has been applied towards your credit card. All refunds granted are for the purchase price of the product only and can only be issued to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
Holiday gift baskets/items and special orders which have been returned to us because we have not been able to deliver them for any reason are non-refundable (e.g. incorrect address etc.) Holiday gift baskets are non-refundable due to their nature, unless damaged in transit. Please note shipping charges will not be refunded.
Creative Chocolate & Design cannot be held responsible for product damage if you (or the recipient of a gift) are not present at time of delivery and the damage occurs as a result of the delay in claiming the package. If a returned package needs to be re-shipped, a second shipping charge will apply. If the product(s) have melted due to excessive time away from our facility, a second product charge will also apply.
